Mamezara, or “bean dish” is a type of small plate from Japan. Traditionally a dinnerware essential, these tiny dishes have found their way into places other than the dining table.
With roots in woodwork and contemporary art, Kiyata created a wooden prototype of the bear mamezara. Crafted by hand, it was further fine-tuned to result in a polished ceramic version.
Available in brown or pearl white, this handy porcelain bear can easily hold anything from appetizers and candies to paper clips and jewelleries.
NOTE: As this is a fragile item, the original packaging might be opened and reinforced by Tabiyo for added protection.
